Small Hex Bolt Assortment

I've been searching on and off for small hex bolt assortment with 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, 10-32. It would great for flange head, but I can washer a regular bolt just as easy. I can find metric kits this small all day, what gives?
I may have to build my own, but I dont want to settle on Pan head phillips, or Hex socket. I need what I want for good reason

Probably a good idea to build your own set from one of the online bolt suppliers. That way you get exactly what you need instead of a bunch of lengths you may never use.

Also consider bolt cutters to cut down longer bolts when shorter ones are needed. This approach could reduce your inventory.

Tractor Supply has graded hex bolts for reasonable prices, assuming there is one nearby.

Hex head is unusual in those small sizes.

Much of the world has changed to metric, including a lot of goods sold in the US. You can still find what you want, but I agree you will likely have to put together your own kit. Nutsandbolts, Boltdepot, USBolts, etc. Try Amazon for a small kit, but research quality if you are fastening stuff that could be life threatening if it failed since there are reports of counterfeit strength stamping.

Unless I'm just not seeing it, HF doesn't have 6-32, 10-32 bolts in any of those kits

Stainless is fine for the versatility, sacrifice is harder to cut to length, a bit higher cost. I need bolts though

This is one of the reasons I want to go with these smaller threads. All my wire strippers for electrical have built in cutters for bolts/machine screws. I just dont have the room for philips drive for Allen drive

That's weird, I know I've gotten those at HF before, must have been discontinued. Amazon has some fairly good 6-32/10-32 assortments in the $12 range.

I feel like I've looked until I'm dizzy and only find machine thread panhead philips, its possible. I seem to spend 2hours a day on amazon shopping for what I dont have, dont need, but all of sudden want.

I have often found myself thinking about buying stuff I don’t remember wanting but might someday have a need for.

My experience with Harbor Freight hardware is that I'd be better off if I threw it away before I brought it home.

So I've got albanycountyfasteners.com, boltdepot.com for stainless bolts & aftfasteners.com for zinc steel & stainless. pretty much all between .05-.12 each before shipping.
