Small Hole in Porcelain Tile

I have a small hole in our home floor tile about 1" x 2" x 3/4" deep. The tile is the gray color of old barn siding (with no paint). The hole is where my desk chair sits so it needs to cure out to a hard finish. Any ideas on what to use to fill this hole?

I have always used epoxy.

I do have to go to a coatings/caulking distributor this week. Guess I'll ask them, too.

That's a pretty large hole to be in a tile. 3/4" deep? I guess that must go into the under layment or cement backer. I would replace the tile if you have or could find one.

Does the desk chair foot sit in the hole?
If so you'll want a hard patch like epoxy

Hole saw a piece of another tile, and set it in place? Or, just replace that tile?

You guys have some great ideas. I don't have any replacement tiles so that plan of attack is a non-starter.
That leaves grout and JB Weld. I can fill the hole halfway and put in a small piece of stainless steel perforated metal for reinforcement before another layer of whichever product I choose.
I probably will run an experiment to see which is harder. Harder is good I'm told!

Just because you don't have a replacement tile doesn't mean that something isn't out there. I moved to a new house in November. Nice 12x24 porcelain in the kitchen. Took me two stops to find the same tile so I could do the basement laundry room to match. Even if it's not EXACT, a very similar tile will be easily found, and look better than a hole.

I do live in a large development. Maybe someone around here has one tile. Or maybe I can find a sample online. Regardless, you guys have been great! I really do appreciate your thoughts.
