The nuts sometimes come loose. I've used used nuts in the past. they are square shape.
I've purchased of these from Amozon but can't find small 8 point sockets. I've purchased a few hex nuts off of ebay.
I hope one of these will fit.

Anyone know where I can purchase small 8 point nut drivers?

Nuts on eyelgass frames are usually recessed into the frame in an opening that doesn't leave room for a nutdriver or wrench. Hold the nut in place with your finger (or possibly a pair of tweezers) and tighten the screw with an appropriate screwdriver.

As far as I know, the only tools for small square nuts are miniature open-end wrenches, like the ones Moody makes. Nutdrivers in very small sizes are universally for hex nuts, and need a fair bit of clearance around the nut to fit.

If you have access to the nut, just hold it in some fine needle nose pliers. You aren't going to torque it too hard.

And if they keep coming loose then use some thread locker. Or just damage the threads a bit so the damaged threads will jam the nut on.

I purchased some jewellers tweezers with a blunt nose. The big problem is without bifocals I have a hard time seeing the nut even using reading glasses. I have a set of Vigor breakdown tools but they fit a hex nut. The nuts I found are stainless out of Hong Kong. Vigor sells nuts but are expensive.
Thanks for your help.
