Small Prentiss Vise

Looking for a small Prentiss vise. Needs to be bolt down through the bench. Jaws must be 1 1/2" to 1 3/4"

The smallest Prentiss machine vise that I've ever seen had 2 inch jaws. Aside from jewelers vise variants, I'm not aware of anything smaller.

Thanks. I think I saw one in an early ad on e-bay. I have soft jaws made for Prentiss that measure 1 3/4". Jim

Ebay is your best bet, the vise collectors with little Prentiss vises do not come off of them. I think 1-3/4" is the smallest jeweler's vise they made.

This is accurate. For some reason they sell for hundreds of dollars and people willingly line up to pay that amount for the small jewelers vises. I've never seen one in the wild other than the Stanley Sweetheart vise that I found a long while ago.
