Looking for a source to buy specific pegboard hooks rather than a mega-pack filled mostly with hooks I don't want. I'm mainly looking for select length/style hooks to hang a few additional things. HF and Lowes had a couple single/multiple packs but not in the hook styles I'd like to get.

Harbor freight has several individual packaged styles. Easiest to find by searching "pegboard hooks" then filtering by price.
I have also seen specific ones on Amazon and ebay and some of the variety packs on Amazon are much better than the ones at lowes, HD, and Walmart. While they will have some stuff you won't use in the package you may be surprised at what you end up needing once you get started.

I just got a 50 pack of one size (6”) hooks from ebay. The quality seems to be fine and it was the best price I could find. There are several sellers and the nne I chose shipped fast.
But man, they cost more than I think they should.

I have had good luck with these guys, but mostly buying shelf brackets and longer hooks, although they have a variety of sizes

Ace, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight all sell individual hooks besides the ones in the kits.
