It's been a longtime since I played with my pressure pot sandblaster but I did some researching back then because my compressor was only 30 gallon that puts out somewhere around 15 CFM. If I remember correctly you can get different sized tip openings which will change the CFM required. I remember ordering some smaller(I think) tips to help let my compressor power it better.
I've been looking into getting a benchtop blaster for a while now to do brake caliper brackets mostly. Lots of people complain about the HF one leaking sand everywhere, I would imagine the vevor would be even worse. That is something I would want a decent blaster for so everything around the bench doesn't get full of sand. I know my pressure pot makes a mess and sand gets everywhere, yes the benchtop is enclosed but if they do leak like lots of people say then that won't help much to keep the dust and sand from getting everywhere. Guess if you wanted to take it outside that would be fine. But the whole purpose of a benchtop, at least for me is for quick little things(caliper brackets). I want to set it up and leave it ready to go when needed so want a decent one with a good enclosure to hopefully keep the sand in the enclosure.
