Geo,
You have a lot of great ideas and I plan on using them. I tried ordering the roller but they want twice the cost for shipping to my location.

Thanks akdiesel! Please use any of the ideas that you've seen here. Just make sure to post up a build thread when you get to working on it. Too bad about the freight on the tubing roller. If I had a VW Diesel I'd offfer to drive one up to you. Sounds like a viable reason for a road trip.

Just putting the welding table to work. Here it is lending a helping hand while I weld up a broadfork for working the soil in my garden.

I must admit that having the welding table and being able to position my parts at a reasonable working height is so much nicer than crounching over on the ground for welding.

Nice table, I like the size, would fit in my cramped garage perfect. Might adjust it to make it a swing down top like a folding chair with wheels on two legs so I can store it better. Gonna have to draw up some plans.
I also noticed on your storage shelf, are those gussets from Paul Horton's Welder Series?

I assume that you are refering to the gussets shown in this photo. These are actually from Speedway Motors.

1-1/2" x 1-1/2". Thickness: 14 ga. (.0785) Gussets

I bought a pack of these a while ago and keep finding neat places to use them. For the price I can't afford not to have some around. They can also be bought in a 1-3/4" 12 ga. size.

Here is another place in the shed where I used them to build a support brace for my shelving suspended from the ceiling.

Make sure to post up pictures if you make a similar weld/fab table.
