small snap-on tool box

Well, I guess I need to pay closer attention to dimensions when bidding online. I bought this box at a local online auction, not realizing the size. I still think it’s pretty cool, and would have still bid on it but most likely not paid the price I did. Has anyone ever seen one of these this size? I’ve seen the smaller ones but never one like this. It’s older based on the key for it, and the style of the slides. But can’t seem to find a p/n to find any info on it.

What ARE those things? Mainly the second set of pics. The first picture looks like its just a KRA style side cab. But those micro sized boxes are cool!

Those are promotional boxes Snap On gave their dealers. About 1/2 to 2/3 the size of regular IIRC.

In the description the current owner called the second box a kind of display case. Unknown functionality on the drawers, though they look functional.

All drawers on mine as well as lock are functional. From what I can tell the auction was either an older snapon dealer or a very avid collector. Not very many tools but tons of novelty collectibles.
