Small Starrett Micrometer..

I’m finding all kinds of goodies from my newest acquisition. I came across this 0 to 1/2" Starrett model number 323 micrometer. Although I must have six 1" micrometer’s and a full set up to 12", I’ve never owned one this small.

I think the first micrometers ( late 1860's ) were that small.
A handy little guy to have in your box.
