I finally cleaned out the junk from my garage. I am all about having an uncluttered work/car area. Check it out, yes it's small, but unlike 90% percent of my neighbors it's uncluttered.

My next task is to figure out which type of floor I want, epoxy, concrete stain, tiles, etc...

Looking good. I vote for epoxy. Can be a pain to lay down, but the end result is awesome. Good luck on your choice.

Small? Man, I'd kill for that kind of room! Mine is 19 feet wide and 23 deep. Just enough room to park two cars, move around them and still have a couple of feet in the front to work when both are in the garage.

My neighborhood suffers from the cluttered garage thing as well. Our hose is the only one in the neighborhood that actually holds cars. Everyone else's collects ****.

I vote for epoxy, the result will compliment the ultra clean look you have.

Clean garage and nice Series 1 Jag!
What's that metal box below the cabinets by the door?

I too am undecided about my garage floor. I think I may have too much moisture for epoxy so I'm considering either having the floor stained and polished or possibly putting down ceramic tile.

Jan, BMW, Pop,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I suppose I am lucky to have the space. I am considering expanded it out 8 feet at some point.

Anyway, as for the floors, I have heard puzzling comments.
-some say epoxy is the best, others say that it will eventually flake into your tires if they are hot.

-others say tiles are the best, but if you drop a heavy item they will break, crack, etc.

-I've yet to hear anything about concrete stain. Do you guys have an opinion..?

Yes Glen, Thanks for noticing the unusual box. It's some type of industrial lense cleaner. I use it to store my oily rags and latex work gloves. It has a nice clean vintage look to it:

Evozine, nice garage! I wish I had a 3 car! I really dig how you raised the large cabinet/wardrobes - I assume to keep them level - smart move! Where did you source all those white cabinets? They look similar to the offerings at HD, which I've been considering and have been looking for some feedback on.

As for flooring, I went the (cheap HD) epoxy route and have been extremely happy. I'm messy, and the floor has put up with all manners of nasty fluids for months at a time without staining or peeling. I don't park hot tires (just dead project cars), so I can't speak to that concern unfortunately.

Thanks Cloud,

I am told that the previous owner of my house used home depot cabinets all throughout the garage. I personally think this guy went a little crazy with the cabinets, as I have nine full size, and the thirteen smaller/suspended cabinets covering approximately 50% of my wall space.

The floor is still undecided for me, but I need to figure it out and get it done before the end of the year..,
