Hi All!
Sorry I have not updated in a long time ...
Where a few things done to it dargit out at the time ...
Partly, I was able to buy blocks which were of sandwich type, concrete styrofoam concrete. So it would be finished wall just to paint, but it came to nothing.
Then we went to California in May!
So on June 6th, I received building materials and have now been building in a month, made 99% alone and in my spare time so moving slowly but steadily forward.
The first time I murter myself, so you'll see glitches, it is safe to say ...
In Sweden we usually armor the first and last layer when building walls of siporex blocks.
I will have open up to the roof ridge and is based just out three walls not four contiguous.
I do not really trust the feeble way we build with siporex here in Sweden (no common structural form here in Sweden).
So I use the extra margin and build as they do in the former Joguslavia etc.
First walls of siporex, then I cast concrete poles in the corners and the next step is to cast a percussion band / beam that links all poles together.
Up in the roof ridge, I have a beam, it will be open all the way up and it will rest on steel poles and wall. Suspenders and waist belt again ...
Steel poles is what I worked on today.
This weekend I will build molds for percussion band.
Want to know the dimensions etc. so just ask!
Pictures comes tomorrow so come back then!
