Check out New Holland as well. Their Boomer lineup of compacts has a very good reputation.

Thanks guys, I knew you would come through for me.

I have a JD and Kubota dealers within 15 minutes of me in either direction, so going to go that route.

I just bought a Kubota BX 2360 at the beginning of this year. It's the bees knees.

Tbn, for sure. I lurked there for some months and finally got the BX2660, mmm, fel, bush hog, tiller, box blade. There is a good JD vs Kubota thread going now. Have a ball, keep us posted on what you get.

I got a New Holland TZ25DA Boomer tractor.

Great little machine, with tons of power for it's size. All I use it for is mowing, but you can get all the stuff for it that would be on a big tractor... front bucket, front blade, backhoe, blade, etc.

+1 on TractorByNet.com BTW they have hundreds of reviews on the site for numerous brands and models. Remember with tractors that weight is your friend! Be sure to compare weights when doing comparisons. Good luck!

I have a NH TD19A (diesel) 4WD for small jobs including loading, fence, leveling, raking and primarily mowing. I prefer it over the bigger tractors when possible. 400 hours and nothing but fluid changes.

Dad's has had a Kubota for years no problems so far. I love that thing it hates me I think. So far I'm only one that managed to get it stuck and dinged.. luckily dad has mellowed with age. The loader is a god send. Sure would of been nice to have one as a kid!
