Small Workshop Lighting Question

Hi Everyone, thank you in advance for reading through my post. So many of you have jaw dropping garages...I can't wait to add the 3rd stall to mine. For now, I'm working on my workshop.

We're remodeling our basement and I'm making workshop area for wrenching on my lawn equipment, dirtbikes, and r/c cars.

It's an L shaped room. The main space where you drive in is 15x11. The other section is approximately 12x6. I'm not terribly worried about the lighting in the 12x6 section. This section will be mostly a storage area and doorway access to the rest of the basement.

I would prefer to use LED, but I'm not sure they are a good choice due to my ceiling height of 7'6". I was thinking of using 3 Lithonia SB232's. But I don't know if this is enough and what array they should be in. Granted I don't have many options.

Here's two pictures...don't mind the mess. We're shuffling things constantly during the renovations.

That fixture is a good choice for that space. You'll be fine.
Good luck

Looking at the top picture, would I lay them out in a straight row of three down the middle. Or should I run them horizontal to the door?

Also, what bulb should I go with?
