I thought it would be fun to have folks show a comparison of their biggest and smallest of the same kind of tool--hammers, screwdrivers, vises, whatever.

I just ran across a 5/64 (yes, .078"!) open end wrench used for who knows what. Here's that little ****** next to my biggest open end.

Here's my 6" Morgan and my 1" H&B.

The Morgan weighs in at about 140 lbs, the H&B 1/4 lb.

This is an old picture, and I don't even have the williams anymore.
But I still like it.

Some taps--a M1.2 x .25 for musical instrument work and a 3/8"-18 NPT. I tend toward the small end of the scale with my shop.

I'd post my small 1/4" extension with my 7' long 3/4" one but I can't get the whole extension in one pic

I think this shows the smallest and largest of the Record vices. On the right is a Record No. 3 and on the left is a No. 8. The others are Nos. 4 and 6. I don't have a No. 5 but I know they exist. I do not believe there is a No. 7 nor anything smaller or larger than the Nos. 3 and 8.

Here's my #5. I really like the Records they seem to be under-appreciated here in the USA. People will pay $200 for a 3" Wilton and pass by a $50 5" Record.

That's a beaut ... and I agree with you ... not as popular as some and usually a good deal. I've had my No. 4 for almost 40 years and I've never wanted anything other than a Record.

My biggest socket is a 2 3/8" 3/4 drive chrome 12 pt and my smallest is probably something like a 4mm.

The bicycle shop I used to work in had a few 4' long monkey wrenches (not for bicycle use!) and my father has one that's less than 6". Those would be a cute couple in the same picture.

I recently felt the need for a long handle 1/2" ratchet. Then there were 3.

Duro, Williams, and Easco.
