I’m considering purchasing my first palm nailer. I have a 6” gap between two studs in which to place a Simpson AR-35 tie bracket. The nails are 1-1/2” long which leaves 4-1/2” for the nailer (tip to palm grip). I’ve seen offerings on the internet with length x width x height dimensions in text but you don’t know how they’re oriented on the nailer itself. My cursory research finds the Bostitch 50N mini impact nailer. So my questions are:
1) What brand has the smallest nailer?
2) Is the Bostitch 50N a quality product?
3) Is there an impact nail driving tool who’s handle is oriented at a right angle to the axis of the impact head/nail that would fit in this stud gap?
