i've used it before and it works ok as long as the heater is working. unless youre worried about the enviornment kerosene works better and faster!

Microbes seem to work, but you may find as many restrictions on dumping the result as dumping oil directly or solvent. Find out what works within the rules in your area and do that if its practical. I seem to remember hearing something about the microbes really stinking if they go bad.

we use the smart washer system at firestone with no problems, it works but i think kerosene works better than the microbes

Can you use kerosene in the Smart Washer System???? I can't see why not, just have to disconnect the heater....
