Smoke in compressed air?

Has anyone got any ingenious ideas of how I can quickly rig my smoke machine to my air compressor to blow compressed smoke. Trying to rig up a little experiment to see air flow over a test piece. Worried about back pressuring the smoke machine and the air system in the shop is too big to fill completely.

Bernoulli principle - make a Venturi (like a carburetor) to **** the smoke source into the moving compressed air stream. Although your compressed air stream may be way too powerful or fast to give an accurate aerodynamic example - usually these things run way below 90 PSI!

Connect it to a small sand blaster cylinder and mix??

Same idea I was thinking of - we used to spray Ammonium Sulfate fertilizer with a "gun" made of old vacuum cleaner hoses and a homemade wye fitting - the moving air in the necked down wye (with the tail end of the wye connected to a hose in a drum of fertilizer) would cause the gun to **** up the particles into the compressed air stream and blow them out across what we were fertilizing (in this case, iceplant).

BTW I claim no responsibility for your other half killing you for butchering her vacuum hoses... --lol--

Actually, the vacuum cleaner output side might work better for this than your air compressor - more volume = more smoke.
