Smooth patches in polyuria floor?

Is it normal for polyuria floors to have patches that are completely smooth? I was under the assumption that the anti-slip texture was part of the reason people chose this flooring.

It looks like the low spots in my garage floor have been completely filled with topcoat and as a result I've become completely smooth.

My guy said low spots might fill with top coat because it is a liquid and it will level out because of that

Thats not normal. Our nonkskid we supply normally gets mixed into the topcoat and rolls out with it and stays with the topcoat. It shouldn't puddle. Sounds like it needs redoing properly since what you are experiencing is not per norms, and could be a slip hazard.

Topcoat is also a thin layer and shouldn't 'run'.

Thanks, I think they broadcasted flakes and then coated over it. I'm wondering if they thinned the top coat to make it easier to apply and that's why it pooled.

Normally pooling would occur from being applied too thick. Topcoat is a thin layer and shouldn’t be applied too thick where it could run.
