Smoothest impact wrench trigger??

I want something that is very smooth and I can throttle the trigger with control in 3/8 dr. The Cornwell gun I have now is awesome but I fling so much hardware because its all on or all off.

If you like that kinda thing its also for sale.

Cordless impact or air impact? For forward and reverse I really find my 3/8 Milwaukee fuel nice and convenient, because of the 1 - 2 power setting. It's a great impact and I enjoy using it with my 3/8 mac impact sockets and my assortment of 3/8 bit sockets such as a full set of Allen / hex, torx, and phillips and flathead sockets etc. It works great on removing without stripping rusted bolts and old stuck phillips screws.

X2 on the Fuel. I don't know if you're looking for something cordless, but they have REALLY nice triggers.

That on/off trigger is the same problem I have with the harborfreight earthquake guns.
There's only one reverse torque setting, so it gets really unwieldy at times.

yep the Fuel is perfect. With the power setting on 1 the trigger has a lot of range and works with small delicate screws etc. I leave it on 1 most of the time actually unless more power is needed.

Then get a Nitrocat. They're very smooth because of the pin style hammers. Also, even more torque than the CAT250, don't know if you really want that or not, but they are rated at 700. Strongest 3/8" I've ever had my hands on.

I had a gun with a rough feeling trigger. I took some sand paper and polished it down. I then finished it off with 1000 grit paper. That trigger was so smooth!!!!

I had that gun and sold it after I bought the mg325.

That trigger was like on and off too. Hard to feather it. Read the reviews on amazon.

look at the mg325.. Comes with an anvil brake on it.

I've heard people say that before, guess I must be different, I liked the trigger on mine and had more control with it. Co-worker commented on it one day, thinking I was out of air, when I told him no, he said, well that trigger must be really easy to feather on that thing. Might depend on the operator a bit as well, I dunno.

Yea I was thinking of picking up a used MG325

With those a good trigger is a must as you have to have a note from your Mother, to get the power regulator to move. Worst I've ever seen. If that is no matter to you, then you'll most likely be pretty happy with it.
