Snap 1/4 ratchet rebuild question

Hello what is the correct orientation for the ratchet selector? It is placed in the head of the ratchet in the photo. Not sure which direction is supposed to point before the lever is pressed in..thanks

Turn it around, ball needs to be in the deep v's.
