Hi
That IS NOT SnapLock or RaceDeck. What you are looking at is a poorly made China Knock off product from a company that I believe is no longer in business

For $1 a tile, not bad for something used light duty IMHO.

I would highly recommend buying a few these before you buy your whole garage. There is a reason they are unloading for an asking price of $1 and not even the companies who use regrind product are buying it to recycle /mix in their manufacturing.

Is it because it is so super tough that it cannot possibly be ground down for recycling? Bad ***!

Don't get all defensive! I said light duty. Can't be any worse than the stuff sold for three times that by Home Depot!

Snap Lock is Race Deck. The title reads as if Snap Lock is a knock off of Race Deck.

Not to me, it looks like snap lock is a knock off of race deck. Do you really think anyone would be fooled by that anyhow? Does it matter, or is it just because you have Race deck that you are sensitive about it?

Hi
JimVonBaden - Not really "defensive" , just recommending he get a sample to possibly save him money and some aggravation. I would say the only aggravation comes from what the China knock-off products do to hurt the industry as a whole. People think that its 'the same' and after a terrible experience, they not only will never buy a modular flooring system again, they will make sure no one else they know does either. The post title is a perfect example of a consumer thinking this is the same as our U.S.A. made SnapLock product.

Dubber is correct - SnapLock is the parent company to RaceDeck and that product has nothing to do with us. All of our products are made right here in Salt Lake City, Utah under one roof!

IMHO There is room for as many as can compete. If price is the driver, and people will pay it, then that is why China is such a powerhouse.

You can always show your superior product, and people will be willing to pay a serious premium for it, but for those not willing there is always someone willing to make a product to a more appealing price point.

I get your point, but denying that there is value in something just because it is less quality than what you sell is head in sand thinking. IMHO
