Hello, newbie here!

I have won a set of 1/4" universal joint/extension set on eBay and was surprised to see that some of the usual details you expect to find on Snap On tools are missing.

TMXK2 – USA stamp missing
TMXK60 – USA stamp and production year code missing
TMU8B – all stamps in place

I own some other Snap On tools, including 3/8" extensions, and they are all properly stamped. Also, one of the ratchets (made in 2009) that I used to have was without a USA stamp, but that is a well known story. This is the first time I have seen something like this.
Maybe someone could shed some light on this “mystery”?

Thanks

I noticed on some wrenches I bought off the Snap-on website the stamping wasn't perfect, I think they are cutting cost on things, I also bought a 9/16 crowfoot and it was laser etched and not stamped like my previous one bought many years ago, I have been buying Snap on tools since the 1990's and noticed where they have been cutting cost on some of their tools, just my 2 cents.
