I will have to check your tracking info when I get to a computer and will forward it to you. But, to answer your question I do not know how long USPS usually takes to get from Texas to new York.

Just FYI

Priority Mail would take 2 days most times, 3 days rarely.
First Class Mail would take 3 days most times, 4 days sometimes.

If it was sent via First Class Mail it would have shipped on Tuesday the fifth and should get to you tomorrow, Saturday at the latest.

Thanks Balane. I have not had much luck with USPS. UPS may be a little more money but I feel that they are more reliable.

Thanks so much for providing the tracking number. The USPS website shows that they were electronicly notified to expect the package July 6 but there is no tracking information available. Do you think that the USPS lost the package?

In my experience sometimes USPS doesnt update there package till it hits the sorting facility. Especially if you dont check your package in at the post office at the initial drop off. Id give it some time...

Thanks HiBall. I know that Jonathan sent the package but I have little faith in the USPS. I just wanted to be sure that they did not lose it.
It's funny, I have received packages and the tracking status still said "at the sorting facilty" or "out for delivery." I would think that in 2011 the USPS would learn from UPS and Fedex.

Sorry for being a pain. Good old USPS, tracking information that is useless. No wonder they keep raising the prices of postage to offset thier inefficiency.
