Does anyone know if snap on makes a 1 inch drive click type torque wrench that goes up to 2000ftlbs? I haven’t been able to find much on it exactly if anyone has insight I would really appreciate it! Had a customer say they had one a while back but can’t seem to find a part number and no one has an answer on whether or not it’s made anymore

I can’t answer your question, but a Torque multiplier seems like a better choice. Ill admit, I’m curious to how long a 2000 ft lb torque wrench would be, Lol.

I googled it, About 9’ in length and $1800 bucks for a dial capable of 2000 ft lbs.

That would still require 222.22 pounds of force to reach the target torque.
Slimmy might struggle with that. :lol_hitti

My snap on 1" drive toque wrench is probably about 8' long but I belive only goes to 1500 ft lbs. the handle is two pieces. You set the torque and then slip the extension over it. When we did Jesus nuts on helicopters with it it was a two man job. One guy up the 15' step ladder and another stabilizing the ladder due to the force required.

Toque multipliers are much better!
