21-D X 5'2" H X 50" H.... TOP MODEL# KR-670 BOTTOM KR-660-B 1988

I found these in really nice shape on CL for $1200. Is this a good deal? Wanted to find out what the going rate was for these as I was going to end up dropping about $800 on an HF, Husky or Craftsman setup.

This is only for the homeowner but I plan to keep this forever.

I will find out that ASAP. If they are ball bearing is the price fair or do I have wiggle room. The guy has been trying to sell since beginning of November.

if both the top and bottom are ball bearing give the guy cash and quickly go get it. if they are both slides, talk him down on it.

What kind of cash are we looking at if they are slides? I don't want to insult the guy but want a good deal.

Does anyone know of a website that shows a history of all the different models of Snap On toolboxes or general toolboxes for that matter?

Goodpoint Hiball, other thing I'm thinking is with the economy the way it is could be another reason no one is buying. I'm torn between buying new albeit not as well made or finding a deal on an older Snap On setup.

Just found out they are all ball bearings. I'm gonna call the guy to discuss. Is there anything I can ask before I go and look at it. It's about an hour away so a little bit of a drive.

Everything is in working order. Only thing it could use is some new rubber stops on the backs of the drawers. Appears that $1200 is rock bottom. Would you pull the trigger?

Here's a picture of the setup. Slight scratches on the right side from moving around. Needs new rubber stops on drawers, all ball bearing.

My father has a similar style form around the same time frame, only his is a 35" wide version. Those things are solid. I wish I had a box with that type of build quality.
