Hi,

Does anyone have a 2 drawer middle section box ?

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...D=738018&group_ID=676030&store=uk&dir=catalog

I have a 40" stack and could do with two extra long drawers to store my pry bars and long screwdrivers etc. I have them currently chucked in other drawers which then limits what else i can put in those drawers. Just wondering if anyone has one, do you think it was worth it or should the cash be put toward a roll cab etc when they are on promo ?

My box is also a custom job, black exterior with extreme green drawers. Does anyone know if SO offer the middle sections in custom combo's ?

I went the other way, I have a 4107 roller that I used with my old Craftsman 12 drawer top. Rather than buy the Snap-on top (which wouldn't really have gained me much in the way of square inches) I grabbed one of these. There aren't many mid boxes of any make anymore that add space.

Just buy a black one, then the separate green drawers. Make a couple of brackets and use the black drawers under your workbench:

I have drill bits and drill press vises in the deep one (under my drill press) and files in the shallow one (under my bench vise)

That's an interesting idea regarding the drawers.

Trouble is in the UK the drawers cost a fortune, as does the 2 drawer middle section box.

I bought the craftsman 40'' add on drawer for my craftsman box. it is a single drawer unit but has ball bearing slides. it holds all my impact sockets and slides very well ( it is over ten years old - no issues ) check the craftsman website. might work for you set up. if you only need to store pry bars and long screwdrivers I would suggest a locking side holder for those. got one from sunex for my shop cart. paid about 24.00 off of amazon. worked well for me.
