Snap on 2-drawer mid section

Hello, first post here. Trying to gain information on this Snap on 2 drawer section? Hard to track down for some reason. All responses are greatly appreciated! Please correct me if I’m not accurate in my findings. I think it’s a KRA-428? But I don’t know for sure. It’s a Snap-On Canada product. The lock is on the bottom drawer and locks both drawers, this is what is a little confusing? I have only seen similar ones that have their locks on the top drawer. I bought it at an on line estate sale. It was full of tools, unfortunately they weren’t snap on, got it for $40. Any and all insights are greatly appreciate. See pics.

Hahaha! Agreed it was a steal of a deal. No firearms involved. Nobody seemed interested in it. The lot was originally $80. Then went 50% off. I’m glad to have it in my collection. Cleaned it up and it came out real nice. No rust!

1970s mid box. Highly desirable and sought after. Better go turn yourself in because as ALLFAST has already pointed out, you stole it.

Thanks. So it’s about 50 or so years old. Still In great shape. I was able to get the drawers out to clean, with the help of an elbow hex key. All I found inside was a Mikita owners manual for a drill. No hidden treasure.

These are the lot pics that I bought it in. Got this stuff with it. Some good stuff, some “Well you know”. There was a bunch of packing tape that needed to be cleaned up, which was a PITA.
