There is one of these for sale locally on craigslist with two jack stands. Not sure on the brand of the stands but he is asking $150 and open to offers. What would be a good price for this jack? I think its made in the U.S.

I just purchased a milwaukee hydraulics model 20 so I don't NEED one but I wouldn't mind having an older U.S. jack that could use some TLC as a second jack. I do believe it is in good working condition, and the pic he has posted shows it used, and dirty but the decal is still readable.

Its definitely a Import design, These are ShinnFu designed and sold under many different names under thru thousands of different stores.

Is the A, B, or C part of the serial #? Where would this be on the jack?

The one the guy is selling on craigslist is a red one. Not sure the origin. Not sure if I'm gonna go look at it. He said it still works well and he has owned it for 4 years. (think he got it used based on how the email read).

Elroy is so glad he doesn't have these problems

You should be in my shoes when i have to explain to the customer that there prized jack is not so.. Well you get the picture. Im a firm believe that Snap on tools are Great hand tools and there service is first rate, but they have seriously dropped the ball in the hydraulic jack department. Ironically Mac tools is one of the only truck companies that push USA Jacks. :headscrat

Yep, Elroy hears ya

Would venture to say that most Snap-On jack owners are not real pleased when you inform them their jack is actually a POS. It can't be pretty.
