Snap-on 20 tooth failure

Thought you guys might like seeing this. I was surprised to see two teeth sheared off! I expected it to just be gummed up. Worked fine but would occassionally lock up solid. Rebuild kit is on the way!

Surprised to see that on a stubby, all my stubby's are gearless drive besides 2 kokens

I am surprised that you could put enough pressure on a stubby to break the teeth.

I recently had a 1/4 Cornwell ratchet that was seized due to old hard grease. When i cleaned it, a tooth was broken off in much the same way. The handle has wear but no hammer or cheater marks. A quick trip to the friendly Cornwell truck had me with a rebuilt unit.
