Snap On 26" Top Box - $75. Worth it?

This box has been listed on CL several times now. Price dropped from $100 to $75. What can you tell me about it? Good deal?

I have no real need for it...and it's 40 mins away. If it's a killer deal though...

PRECISELY my thought! I think I paid a good bit more for my 4 drawer (19"? unsure) carry-tool box from Sears 7yrs ago.

That's really funny...because the one I posted is like 10 miles from that one on eBay. I suppose I could always pick it up and if I change my mind turn around and sell it on eBay for $200 apparently...

So it is friction slides? I thought maybe, but didn't think SO would have made friction slides in a box that new.

If it's a SnapOn and isn't rusted through, $75 is a nice deal. That box looks to be in great shape. Please report back when you have it in hand.

Porphyre is correct about a portion of that $75 being Kool-Aid mix, but there are plenty of drinkers out there so you'd have little trouble selling it for that. Don't know why it hasn't been Snapped On already but that's not for you to worry about.

Take the 75 make the offer of 50 he says no try 60 no then just pay the 75. It is a good deal. Not a Smokin hot make ya wanna dance deal, but it is a good deal. You double yer funds if you do not wanna keep it.

That is a nice looking box. Maybe make it your eletrical box or something to help divide the toys.

I wish i could get a nice box to pop up on my side of the state for $75...i am on the lookout for a similar box for my son's starter toolbox, and something like that is perfect... The Detroit CL ads don't get good deals to often, so i am usually checking almost daily....Pick that thing up.
