I love toolkits in cars like that. As if there was ever a chance an owner was going to wrench on the car themselves.

Either way, I'll wait until Harbor Freight offers a comparable set...

Yea, it's more novelty than useful, but I wonder if this is an indication of tool manufacturing in the future. we laugh about it today, but we may be buying it tomorrow. I'm trying to make a vehicle toolkit and I don't have as much ratchet and socket components as I'd like because of the weight. think of all the folks toting tools around who would benefit from advancements like this

Popular Mechanics needs a new editor, the title says Snap-On, the article says Facom, and the Instagram link clearly shows Facom. So no I don't think you'll see it on the truck any time soon lol

Facom made the set for the F1 back in the 90's. The speedtail is their newest hypercar

The editor is just fine. He is referring to the toolkit for the F1, that was made by Facom. The toolkit for the upcoming Speedtail is made by Snap-On.

It is pretty impressive that tools can be so light. I think it would throw me off, I would always be scared to break it.
