Snap On 5 Drawer Chest Refinishing

I just bought this box from a local mechanic. It is 26”x13”x14”. I do not see any markings but the paint job is not original so it may have covered the marking. The box functions so I think it would be a nice piece for my new barn garage. Does anyone have a photo of how it was originally painted? What paint/product is supposed to be on the black door fronts?
Do you think it is a true vintage Snap On Box?
Thanks for any help

I could be wrong and not stating it isn't, but it looks to be a Waterloo of Homak with a Snap-On name plate.

Most vintage Snap-On tool chest (that I've seen) had a drawer-cover attached to the lid.

I was able to remove the logo and it appears to be an original. It was placed in one original hole and a second hole was drilled to fit the snap on pins.
I still am looking for suggestions on what product to use on the red box and what is available for the black drawers?

It's a Waterloo, Craftsman, or maybe Homak or very similar. The outer face of the bottom drawer looks like original factory blackish.

Look on the inside bottom of the open top area for stamping (front), and inner right side of top right drawer for a sticker.

It's 100% not Snap-on.

I've got a box painting project coming up and also wondering what's available reasonably priced for good spray paint with the wide top to bottom spray.

FWIW, I refinished one too many tool chests and retired from that hobby. My take - to do it right is insanely labor-intensive and to do it fast, I'd rather live with the patina.

As the previous posters mentioned, most definitely not a Snap On box. Looks Craftsman but I don't think it is. I'd guess Homak. If you feel like messing around with it and getting some practice painting, get some sand paper and spray bombs. I would recommend not putting too much effort into it because it won't be worth much more when you're through.
