I've worked on some old Craftsman round heads and odds and ends older ratchets and I have a Snap On GL72T coming in soon and they're all fairly simple but my 67 adapter is in another league. I've figured out the selector pin and gotten the retaining ring off so far but I'm stuck. Looks like I've got a newer one, can't get a good look at any date code or model number beyond 67 till I clean it up. The piece under the retaining ring doesn't have the holes for a spanner but it's not wanting to budge when I've tapped the adapter like most ratchets covers will once the rings off or when teased with a fine tip pick. Any ideas moving forward? I've fixed a skipping issue it had due to gunk but I want to at least get it disassembled to the point greasing is possible sinces it's got large teeth. Also had a local snap on guy take it with him for 2 weeks a few years ago and he couldn't find any information on how to disassemble it or even how to fix the skipping but left it soaking for a few days. Had to jettison it out once I decided to mess with it to fix the skipping.
