Does any one have this impact and if so how do you like it. Also whats the best price anyone can get for this impact, i only need the gun, i already have the battery and charger.
j have one it works good for its sizesmaller fasteners up too about 13mm
although if it requires much impacting it kills battery quickly
i think i paid about 149.00 can for the bare tool

When it can take something off, it is a wonderful tool, light and small, but so much it can't touch, many things you would think it would. Full charge battery, about 18 ft lb all it can do. It kills batteries fast. I must like it enough because I havn't returned it. Would maybe try the 12 volt milwaukee.
Are you talking about the CT561? Worst Snap on Purchase I ever made. What I don't understand is that the CTS561 cordless screwdriver seems to have more power.
I wanted a compact impact wrench to use on small upper engine fasteners, trim, and window regulators. My Ct561 stalls removing M6 and M8 bolts, even coil on plug bolts. I am very disappointed in it. I bought the new Dewalt 12Vmax compact 3/8 square drive impact. I'm much hapier with it than the Snap on.
Thanks for the heads up, I had recently came across the battery and charger almost new and was thinking about getting this impact to use, because it is smaller. I have a craftsman professional series ( the red one) impact with the lithium ion battery which I love but it's a little big. Hmm what to do with battery and charger?
they just made the same thing with a 1/4 anvil and a quick change chuck. for those that bought the milwaukee version, the snap on is stronger. I made a guy mad when he could not remove anything that i tightened down at all. I could take off anything that he ran down as well. both had fully charged batteries
Something must have been wrong with his then. My milwaukee has a plenty of power for its size and is the most powerful compact 3/8 i have used. The ct561 in most peoples opinion that have tried it is that its a steaming pile.
I bought mine cheap so what I got in it I can't complain. I bought it for a specific job and it couldn't do it. I doubt that it is anywhere near 50 ft lb. With that said, I had to remove a sheet metal sign that had used 5/16" hex head screws. I was standing on the second step from the top of my ladder and reaching as far as I could and it was the perfect of any tool out there to do the job. A cordless drill or bigger impact driver would have just been too heavy and I couldn't put them in my pocket like the little Snap-On. I also used it to replace the rubber paddles and side shields on my snow thrower and it made the job easy. If you get it cheap, it is a good tool to have.
well the milwaukee 10.8 volt with the quick change chuck would not touch it. maybe you have a bigger milwaukee impact.
I sold 1 of the 3/8 and have sold a lot of the re-designed version.
1/4 looks much better than 3/8 when it comes to the expectation of power.
you expect 3/8 to do certain things and vise verse for 1/4
