I would never pay $5000 for it now. It was never worth $3300.

Running it through the inflation calculator the price back then is the same as now.

People always think things in the past were cheaper due to a lower printed price but the numbers often get a lot closer when you factor in inflation.

9600GSB $21,122.45 in Nov, 25 1991 price list. I have 2 of those catalogs and one price list.

I have a 1973, 1985 and 1989 catalogs plus catalog #100(91-92) thru 1000 only missing 200 and 300 I believe

Those tools help me make a living and provide for my family, so yes it is everything I hoped for. While I don't have the exact set, I do have 95% Snap on and the majority of the tools pictured plus a **** ton more that were offered in catalogs years after 1991-92
