I have 1/4'', 3/8'', and 1/2'' snap on cushion grip. I have one of each of the 936 and the fine tooth. (72 and 80). I have some extra 936's and was wondering if I could swap out the internals for the fine tooth stuff? I don't work at a shop so I can't just get the snap on guy to replace them.

So where do I stand? What is my best bet? What would you do?

Parts are completely different and will not interchange. I'd just keep the 936 rats.

What he said^^^

Honestly for your half inch drive stuff I'd keep ur 936 guts anyways regardless. Those 1/2" ones are beasts. I have an old 936 1/20 drive and I barely use it but when I do sometimes it involves a hammer whaling away on the handle. They are tanks when it comes to a ratchet

My 3/8 flex head, 936 has been over 250 foot pounds of torque a few times. I have never tested the fine teeth 3/8 flex head and don't plan on it unless it needs to be.
