snap on air tool rack

hi all - scored something pretty neat - this is a display rack from a truck - bought it through craigslist from a retired franchisee who salvaged it from his truck when he sold his business - it holds 18 airtools - it is very beefily fabricated from heavy gauge steel, aluminum extruded rods and heavy duty couplers

the "S" logo's are cut outs and in fact the middle cross piece of the S is cut out in the shape of an open end wrench like their regular logo - very cool!

You might try to contact LDV trucks. They make the interiors (and the trucks) for Snap-on.

For those that want one why not just go get a few feet of angle and weld one up if you have a welder? Wouldn't be as nice but for the garage I'm sure it would be fine. The snap on one looks to have some fancy bends on the sides and rails but some simple angle welded up and then drill some holes for the air connects and paint it up and done. Could probably even use some cheap HF female disconnects since it won't matter if they leak air or not.

If I found a used snap on one I would jump all over it like you, was just mentioning the option of a homemade one for the others in the thread that are asking about buying one. Nice score.

I dont remember how much it was but I do remember that it was expensive as hell. If I had to guess, $600-$800

From my most recent experience with LDV, Anything that has the Snap-On branding is only available to franchisees. They are also very hard to work with on any of their non-branded stuff as well. I attempted to purchase some lace board from them about a year ago for my truck. I ended up using another vendor who was alot easier to work with.

i am actually a MAC Tools Distrbuter, however my truck was a snap on truck till is was converted. And I have some snap on shelves
On my truck that match your display. My truck did not come with an air tool
Display and I think that one would be perfect depending on the price.

Dig into the LDV site and you find that rack listed for $495. They have quite a number of cool accessories for trucks that could easily be adapted to enclosed trailers or your shop.Be advised the accessories are not cheap,but they are very nice.
