You can replicate this "feature" with $.10 worth of sand paper. I've never seen an American made hex key that was jagged or rough enough on the end that it would effect its use.

I have an older folding set of snap on hex keys and the individual keys are branded eklind, it's a quality set. Very interesting bondhus is the OEM for that snap on product. How did you discover that?
