I was looking at a new scan tool and tempted on this one as does most functions I need at shop or side work and with me recently getting a vantage legend I pretty much gave a Zeus with a 2 channel scope looking thru details I would rather not spend 5k on new platform as going from d8 to d9 will be about the same as if I kept my d8 and subscribing with them I like the snap on because it works most of the time where the old launch/Matco only did half the commands I have never dealt with autel for high end but also no one lets you try it out either and 5k+ is a lot for a gamble too

I'm not a fan of their suretrack and smart data I've seen too many guys go down a rabbit hole, The mitchell connection is also not as good as it once was, Bosh makes a good tool but it too does not do everything
Autel for the price does a lot more but I still find myself grabbing the old Verus to supplement it. Bottom line I think today you need more then one and even then eurotrash will drive you nuts.

Can you give some examples of functions which are present in your Snap-on device that are not available on your Launch/Matco device? I find that my Launch scantool runs circles around my Modis Edge, and I haven’t found a function in the Modis that the Launch lacked.

Also, why in god’s name are you neglecting to use any punctuation, even PERIODS? Everyone learned about them in 1st grade, so it certainly isn’t a matter of ignorance. I guarantee that you will attract more numerous, higher-quality responses to your posts if you show a bit of effort.

Add some periods.

The apollo is a solus, with the intelligent diagnostics ability. Triton is a modis, zeus is a verus, that's the hierarchy and general features vs. the old tools.

I recently bought a solus legend to supplement my autel 906. Shows you what I think of the new subscription based stuff and intelligent diagnostics snap-on is pushing.
