So who has one? When I ordered my cart this wasn't offered for the cart tops yet.. I wanna pull the stainless off my krsc10f and have it lined.. Any idea what brand they use so it'll match my future box ?

They coat the stainless. I wish they had this back when I got mine

Wow, i am surprised they coat the stainless. Actually I just looked, the coated ones are steel, not stainless which makes sense from a cost stand point. Heres the first one I came to.

Shaped the same as stainless and I would thing they use the same tooling to make it, just save some bucks on materials.

I would think you could get a satisfactory result with 3/4 plywood or mdf coated with bed liner and save some money. I'm going to try it sooner or later.

No argument from me. That's why I want to try and make one myself. Would probably have a pro coat it instead of using a DYI kit.

I will say that a stainless top definitely helps sell used boxes and truly, they do clean up nicely. I have buffed a few out and even scratched from use, they look nice.

I don't see the reason to have it over the stainless. How do you clean it, my stainless gets scratched for sure but a solvent rag and its clean and ready to go. After it gets scratched up enough, looks good. imo
