I currently own a Autel MV500 video bore scope. I use this tool to inspect the cylinder bore of diesel engines. It's a good bore scope, the wireless camera wand is mandatory for spinning the camera in circles in the bore wile keeping the viewing screen stationary. The problem is the camera head is to large it fit into some of the smaller sized engines injector bores. I have a co-worker with the old Snap On BK8500. it has a optional 5.5mm Camera head that fits the smaller engines. The video quality is poor and it's out dated. The new Snap On BK7000COMBO with wireless remote would be a nice upgrade with the 5.5mm Camera head but . . . it cost $2335!!
I'm looking for an alternative to the BK7000. I need the smaller camera head 5.5mm or so and the camera wand needs to be wireless, quality image is important. Any body know of such an animal?
