Snap On Box Delivery

Hey guys, I am going to be ordering a Snap on Classic 78 box soon with my student discount. Since the box will not be ordered off the "truck" how will it be delivered? If it is UPS, do I need to have a forklift rented at my house? I live within city limits, so I don't have a whole lot of room for equipment. I am just trying to get everything worked out before I were to order it. Thanks guys.

I bought the same box w my student discount 3 years ago. It came ups and they delivered it to my house nothing special needed

Freight delivery. They brought my locker that way and used a two wheel dollie.

I just bought the same box also on student discount. Came freight the very next day. I'm told this is very rare to come so fast, but they already had a truck set up to deliver another box near me.

The $400 gift card offered with the box I'm told takes 6-8 weeks to come and is only for truck prices, not usable with student discount prices.

I would just call snap on and tell them that the truck needs to have a lift gate to play it safe. You dont want to even think about moving that box off the back of a trailer with no lift gate or forklift lol.

Great, thanks guys. I thought I might need a forklift, thinking the UPS driver wouldn't bring it off the truck.

All Snap-on deliveries to residence are shipped with a lift gate truck. The last thing Snap-on wants is you to worry about getting the box off the truck.

It's not delivered through regular ups, its through ups fright, in a small semi truck type truck.they are set up to do this.just look out depending were you live they might use Conway freight shipping company, I've had poor luck through them more than twice.

It will arrive by a freight truck. You should call the freight company and tell them that they need to deliver your box with a lift van. A lift van will have a lift on the back.

2100 plus a 400 gift card right? I considered it but found a really good used deal on box that suits my needs for now. I just place a 2250+ SO order today though so they got my money anyways.

Hm they deliver to homes now? When I ordered my student box through ASSET, Snap-On industrial delivered all the boxes in a big white box truck to the school. It had a lift gate to get the boxes off. Us students were used as the labor to get them into the school's shop. We then all helped each other to load them onto our trucks/trailers for the trip home.

Yea they deliver, when I was in uti they wouldn't deliver to my apartment so I had them deliver it back home. Had my mom sign for it, I was so nervous driving back home that day praying there was no damage.lol
