That listings beed up for at least a month. Started at 1500, I think. At 400 it's reasonable enough but man that's a bad layout for a home user.

Noticed he hasnt taken the ad out yet so he's open to sell it to whoever get's there first then?

I saw that the other day, it has some serious issues (twist, cracked and welded frame). I'd be hesitant without a thorough inspection.

Zk,

Right next to the logo, that looks like a non factory weld but twisted & cracked? I can't see any of that in the pictures...looks pretty straight to me. I could do without all the stickers though.

That Sacramento box sure was nice.

I wish folks would "save" the pictures off CL...and post them here...

Then we could still see the listing...

Yes actually all 4 corners look welded, that was welded due to a crack which is commonly caused by the frame getting twisted. Those vintage of boxes are notorious for cracking at that point due to torsion (they later added a full box shape to those rails). Also the drawer gaps ever so slightly don't line up further proof the box has been tweaked in some way. We have a box here that had that happen, and spent many a hours fixing it up. Hence my comment about I'd give it a very thorough check over before purchase. A distorted box frame is a royal pain and extremely time consuming to fix... In my experience. Thankfully that one doesn't have a front cover, as with those boxes lineup is critical. It may not be a bad box for the price, depending on in person inspection. It's only 3 drawers, but offset by the >12" depth.
