I got a KRL761 6-7 years ago and just picked up a KRL712A side locker to go with it last week(got a great deal, well I think so anyway). I would like to key the 712 to the 761. Can I order through snap on the correct cylinder for the 712 to match? Do I have to order both new and get matching key codes? Any info, especially from the Snappy guys would be great. Thanks guys.. Chris

Chris,

I ordered 5 matching locks for my box to re-key them at one time. 18 months later, I decided I wanted the carts and everything else to match the box so I ordered 4 more lock cylinders to match the number that I had on the original 5. My dealer got them without a problem.

If you have the round lock, the part number you need is a KxxxKP. Replace the *** with the number on your existing lock.
