Hey guys, so I picked up a snap on IN3815 top box that measures roughly 40" wide x 20" deep x 18.5" tall. The bottom is not flat, but rather has a stand off that seems like it probably registers in the top of the bottom box it would generally be set on. What I am trying to figure out is if snap on made a middle box that matches this top box and what the part number for it might be. I don't have a pic of the box I have, but this is an image from the web that comes up when I google the part number of the top box. There is basically no information available in this box. HELP!

Well they do make, or made in the past, a 40" X 20" 2 drawer mid box, KRA4860A. Sorry, don't know how compatible it is to what you have. I have a KRA 4114 top box, and it too has stand offs/channels holding it up off the bottom box, so I suspect it would work.

In the 90's they had a KRA3860 with friction slides. The KRA4860 has ball bearing slides.

I would email Snap On and ask them. They will likely give you the exact model number you need. They have archives of every tool catalog ever put out. I've inquired about stuff made in the 40's and they've emailed me copies of the catalog pages.
