I have been using a KRA heritage setup for a minute now. This weekend the stars aligned and I came across a deal that I could not pass up on a KRL-1003. Wow this thing is HEAVY! Going to make some drawer liners this week and get everything moved over. Then make a top for it to replace the rubber mat on top.

Aside from the second extra wide drawer and the three locks are there any differences between the KRL1003 and the KRL1023?

Not really. 10 or so years ago the casters changed from the style on yours to 6" version of the epiq. Pull handle on the side might be the old style on yours yet. Otherwise not changed.

Thanks for the reply. So far everything is finding a home and the organizing has started. Drawer liners material will be delivered next week and cut to size. That wide top drawer is amazing. Hard to imagine living without it now.
