I have my KRL 1023/1203/1012 boxes (in avatar pic) for sale but might sell my KR 557/537/274 setup instead, depending on what it is worth. I got it new around 1981, a lotta stickers, no dents or damage, definitely used but well cared for.

I'll post it locally on CL, but not sure how much. Any idea on what these are worth? Thanks. Here's a recent pic.

The roller and top box are worth a good $600 in that condition. With the side cabinets, I'd put it up for $900 and see what happens. That's a really nice setup and would be a great deal for $750 or less. That's still a popular setup.

If you have the time and a little goo gone to remove the stickers you could put the entire set in for around a grand. Where I am anything that comes in under 1000 sells pretty fast on CL. Should be able to get at least 800 easy and that gives you some room to move down (they will lowball you).

Good Luck!

Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it. I really prefer to keep this set. Perfect size for my home, but I haven't had any luck selling the 1023.

Just out of curiosity how much are you asking for your 1023?

I have it posted here and locally on CL at 11K for the 1023, 1203 top, and 1012 side. My Snap-on man says my price for all three is reasonable but I know not many will put that much cash up all at once for a toolbox!

The bigger the box the thinner the market.

I agree with this estimate.

If you get rid of all the stickers, you can easily make an extra $200 or so when selling the boxes. Stickers are usually a detriment to resale value.
