Looking for help finding the value of the box in these pictures. Looking at buying this for my employer to use in the maintenance department. 18” deep, 55” high, 32” wide I think.

I am unable to find out the model numbers, but I’m sure someone will know what it is by sight.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Same stack was listed on Craigslist here for 6 hundo but it was in nicer shape.

I am currently bidding on it. It’s an o line auction for a business that went out of business. There is a 15% buyers premium added to the highest bid. I’m at $300. I’m not sure I want to go too much more.

That's a really nice stack but don't get auction fever. There are too many nice boxes out there for very reasonable money if you're inclined to search.

I’ve been looking for awhile. Im also bidding on some other items, so I was interested in it. I’m always looking for a good deal on things to help make my job easier and organized, but within budget.

In Minneapolis I think a fair price for that would be around $500. I wouldn’t call it a good deal at that price, but it’d be fair.

Thank you. I did run across a 90th anniversary Springer Snap On stack for $900. That would be a better deal, but not sure the boss will ok it.

Update. I won the auction for this toolbox. Once in my hands, I will post more pictures and the model numbers, along with before and after pictures after a good cleaning along with a wax and buff.

Thanks to everyone for their help.

I think my boss has some Snap On fever now. He really likes the new toolbox I bought, but now found a newer and bigger one he thinks would work better.

It is in clean condition with keys. He wants me to find out how much it is worth and go from there.

The older ones go a little lower, they have the multiple locks instead of one

If I was buying I would be looking to pay about $300 to $350 in that condition assuming no other issues.
After cleaning and lubing them up I would be selling for $600 to $650

For which one, the first set or the last set?

In that condition, $2000 - 2500.

Honestly I think your employer would be better served with a new industrial brand box. All maintenance departments I've seen tend to be rough on boxes and tools in general. Depending on the size and type of the business they may be able to write it off on taxes. Look at lista, stor-loc, vidmar, all a much better investment for industrial use then a 20 year old snap on set.
