Man, that's an odd ball box, end drawers and shelves in the same cab? It would be totally worthless in my garage. Almost looks like a custom box or something?

It doesn't look like it's in the greatest shape, you can clearly see worn paint and dents in the drawers and side. I wouldn't give a grand for it unless you really need a super odd cabinet. I'm not sure that I would even give $500 for it.

yeah the only guys who need this box are aviation electricians. thats about it. they are hard to use you need lots of room all around it to open the drawers. I would look for some other box. try and find at least a krl722 or krl761 good starter box

Sure as ****, a taco wagon. After some Googling I found some similar, but nothing in a 50" wide unit.

I guess as a huge rollaround tool cart it would work out pretty well. Still seems odd to me. I've never seen anything like it.

i would love a taco wagon. my cabinets get moved around my shop so i almost always have access to all sides. besides, that baby is huge with tons of storage. kind of like the family truckster when you were a teen. not as much fun to drive but nobody has to stay home either. it does appear to be somewhat abused but may be a good candidate for resto at a cheaper price if it fits your needs.

Anyone know much about this box? Is it worth $1k?

http://salem.craigslist.org/pts/1691357242.html

If it fits into the working layout of your shop then yes. However 90%+ of shops want only one working side of a box.

This guy is always dealing with boxes. He know he has an orphan and if it fits your shop then make him an offer.

He started about $2900. :shocking: No, I'm not kidding.
Davefr, you're getting this guy confused with Dennis in Salem. He's the one always selling boxes, he (Dennis) bought one from a co-worker of mine.

I paid $400 two years ago for the one I have. Looks about the same wear wise. Mine did not have keys, which I got for $15 from my Snap-On dealer.

New it would cost a fortune, but you'd have to really like the way it is laid out...

I've seen them on craigs list and had to fight the urge to buy one. They go in the $450 to $700 range depending on the condition.
