snap on boxes

There's a woman in the area got a 5 drawer top box and 7 drawer bottom, like new with receipts and keys, like new for 500.00. Does this sound like a good deal? by the pictures they look to be the 26" wide boxes.

Also realize that there are different grades of SO boxes, and their cheap line is no better than any of the others. With SO boxes, much of what you are buying is name.

I gotta agree with this. While I recently got my share of "you *****" for scoring 2 SO boxes for free ( I had to re-finish them) after disassembling the boxes to prep for paint, I can't for the life of me figure out what makes these boxes worth any more than a HF box except for the chrome SnapOn logos.

I went and looked at them and passed. They weren't what I was expecting to see, not in bad shape at all, a good cleaning up would have made them look like new. Had little latches in the pulls on the bottom box, drawers all worked good, but it wasn't really heavy duty stuff like the upper end boxes. just seemed like a lot of money to me for what you'd get. Thanks for all the replies if anyone is interested in them and lives anywhere near cleveland tn. I can tell you where they are. or give you the phone number

Yes but it was kinda blurry. craigslist go to chattanooga and look under tools. i think they are in the tuesday section, for sure no earlier than monday. down near the bottom of the page, you can find them easily. 3450 buchannon rd. cleveland tn.423 790 0185
